16 April 2017: EASTER OF THE LORD - 09.00 am Mass at the Church of San Giuseppe - 10.00 Solemn Celebration of the Eucharist in the Parish Church of Picinisco

17 April 2017: (Monday) 17.00 Holy Mass at the Parish Church of Picinisco. this is followed by the traditional picnic - Pasquetta - when families and friends come together to celebrate in the countryside or the mountains and to commemorate the rolling away of the Stone from Christ's Tomb with the rolling of Easter Eggs.

Picinisco, and other towns of Val di Comino, recognise Holy Week with a procession, which is an enactment of the Passion - the Stations of the Cross in costume. Very moving.
